Someone broke into the Seals campaign office in Waukegan last night/early this morning (Sunday night/Monday morning). (News-Sun Story)
They tried to break down the back door, then they hurled something through the front and they robbed us. Police are currently looking for suspects.
As Pat Mogge, Dan's Campaign Manager, says, "For those who have never been to the office, this is where we welcome voters, launch canvassing drives, host phone banks, and hold forums."
It is a vital part of our efforts to engage and support a community that has had more than its fair share of challenges.

This is LMS talking . . . This is horrible. Truly horrible. I understand that in the whole scheme of things, like the economy, it's not so bad. But it is bad. Dan Seals is an upstanding citizen, working hard to make the world a better place than he found it. I'm voting for him and so should you, as I've expressed here. Who would do this? And why? I want to hope that it was just someone who saw a laptop through a window and thought it could be a way to make a quick buck. But maybe not.
